He is still breathing but it sounds funny, especially when he purrs. Sometimes when he tries to eat, he licks the food then gags and almost throws up. Someone suggested it might be a hairball. My cat has never thrown up his hair balls so is it possible his one is stuck and he wont let it come up? Any suggestions on what this might be or what i can do? He is an outdoor cat so he could have eaten anything, im hoping that its just a hairball. I dont have the money to take him to the vet, so any home remedy type advice would be greatly appreciated. Also he never seems to fully close his mouth, and when he goes to sleep, sometimes he wakes up like e is about to throw it up, but it seems as though he swallows it again.
