I personally wouldnt use any products made by Hartz their flea medication kills animals…pure poision…check with your vet if your cat is sick dont try to treat them on your own
Make sure you follow the directions and don’t overdose him.Call your vet as soon as possible.My cat has the same trouble and when it’s bad I give her the hairball treats everyday.Good luck and please follow up with your vet.
You don’t say what his symptoms are. Is he vomiting? How often? Is he eating? Lethargic? I don’t know what’s in the Hartz hairball remedy, but without more info it’s hard to comment.

Take your cat to the vet and get a better brand that is not as harsh on your cat’s system.

Hartz is not known for making safe products for cats. Get something from your vet.
