ok, i think the answer should be pretty obvious, but here goes anyways… TAKE THE DOG TO THE VET…
also, try to start feeding your dog garlic… a little on his food every meal, to make sure he isnt allergic to it, and then you can increase the dosage… garlic is really great for dogs actually… will keep fleas and worms away, as well as give them energy, and keep them healthy overall…
Go to your vet and get cream for this condition – it is easily cured, but you have to get the right cream from your vet.
Please — forget that old clunker about giving your dog garlic – garlic is in the onion family and can cause some nasty blood diseases in dogs – NO garlic. Just take your dog to your vet to have his condition confirmed and get the right medicines for it. One of my dogs had ringworm last year, the vet gave me an ointment for his skin, and the ringworm was cured.
As for walnuts — where do you get these old wives tales from folks??? Would you be taking garlic or rubbing walnuts on your skin if you had ringworm??? That’s ridiculous – take your dog to the vet – there is perfectly good medicine for ringworm, and it isn’t garlic or nuts.
Break open the skin of a walnut fresh off the tree and rub the juice on it. Do this several times a day. It will get the look of your dogs skin getting stain but it is ok. Do this for 3 or 4 days and see if it gets better. If not then take to the vet.
do NOT give your dog garlic, ringworm is a fungus not a worm. and garlic is not to be given to dogs. it is toxic. get some lotrimin cream or tinactin. be careful, you can catch ringworm from your pet.
Ringworms are diagnosed by examining skin scrapings, laboratory cultures, and blood tests to identify antibodies. Treatments include antifungal shampoos and rinses in conjunction with topical and systemic antifungal drugs.

You mean he has ringworm. There is no such thing as having “a” ringworm because ringworm is a fungus. You can use antifungal cream from grocery store.
