What is the rate of a dog shedding?
ByI figure at the rate my dogs are shedding, that I must have at least two to three extra coats of fur laying around here.

All dogs shed differently and certain breeds will blow their coats twice a year in addition to the normal shedding.

5 hairs per second.
You’re screwed.

LOL I can relate.
I had a German Shepherd and a Dalmatian together a few years ago. The Dal didn’t have much fur, but the shepherd shedded so much, I considered knitting a sweater for the Dal out of it!
But the dal I have now sheds like crazy! So, my best suggestion is a good “pet fur” vacuum cleaner!

ha I have two border collies and an australian shepherd. It depends on the breed but they all blow their coats twice a year. What really helps is brushing them as much as you can

It’s HUGE for my lab right now.. i combed her out the other day, and i could have made another dog from all the hair… so i ordered a Furminator comb for her.. they are supposed to work wonders.. i guess i’ll find out if they do, once i receive it!
take care.
