I do not know of any products but a brush. Just do a good brush every day. If you really love your dog you will do what it takes to please it and keep it healthy. It is also a great way to play around and “talk” to your dog

nope.
dogs shed for a reason – its normal most dogs shed all year round, and it gets worse at the end of winter/beginning of summer. some breeds shed more than others.

brush him every day to reduce the amount that gets over your house.

my advice is to just brush the dog as much as you can. your dog is probably shedding it’s winter coat.

shedding is normal but if its too much, maybe the problem is the shampoo he’s using(good shampoo has tee tree oil), or maybe he ate some food like potatoes which is a no-no.

or he ate something that he’s allergic to.

comb hair with bristle brush, if still uncontrollable, visit vet.

hope i helped. (” ,)

It is the season change. You should give them a bath once a week and I would shave them this will keep hair to a minimal amount and a little more manageable. Also brush, brush, brush

Shedding can also depend on breed as well as diet, I have a Tibetian Mastiff and they” Blow ” most of their fur in 2-3 weeks, they have long hair with a double coat,I could easily fill a garbage bag daily after brushing him, on the other hand my boston terrier is short haired and sheds very little but over the course of a month to six weeks,so breed, diet, coat type, and time of year all play factors in the amout of shedding you will have.Your vet can tell you if it is excessive.

If the shedding is beyond normal you should see a vet. It could be a symptom of a medical problem. My dog started to shed excessively and it turned out to be a result of a thyroid problem.

If this is just a lot of annoying, everyday shedding you could try changing your dog’s diet. There is a food called Avoderm that is designed to help your dog’s skin and coat. I used it and was happy with the improvement.

What kind of dog do you have? Costco has a furminator shedding tool for about 50 bucks Costs alot but comes with some extras. Really works on getting out dead hair off dogs like labs, rotts, bulldogs, etc. Isn’t for poodles, shih tzu, and those types
I use mine on my cat too, works great

You left out some critical information. Is the shedding continual, or just the normal twice a year shed? Is it a short haired dog or a long haired dog….or somewhere in between? Continual shedding can be related to heath problems or diet, and you should check into a higher grade of dogfood as well as your veterinarian.

The various products to control the shedding by removing dead hair, such as “Shed Ender” do work. They are labor intensive though. Another course of action is to hae your dog shaved.

There can be many reasons for shedding-time of year- particular breed of dog- specific illness etc.
If your dog is healthy then you may want to look at what you are feeding. Some dogs that are otherwise healthy will shed excessivley due to poor or improper nutrition.
I have three dogs that are japanese chin and do shed due to their breed. They are all very healthy and I changed to a holistic food and suppliments quite awhile ago-before all the contamination thank god- just to maintain the best health possible for them. The good news is that this food that I feed and the skin and coat supplement has greatly reduced the amount that they shed. I of course groom them daily but less hair ends up on the brush or my furniture.
If your vet has deemed your dog healthy then you may want to check my source and try this food and supplement. It has worked for me.
Best of Luck
