In general, my vote is for Four Paws, available at many pet shops. It's not terribly expensive, and it comes in different types, such as deoderizing, whitening, flea killing, and oatmeal (especially for itchy skin), and more. It is very moisturizing and help cut back on dander, but if your dog has sensitive skin, then you would need to use one that is made especially for dogs that has no fragrance added. Diluted dishwashing liquid can work, and Doc Bronner's organic soap (you dilute this stuff, too) is also great.
