something is making us itch?
ByMy husband recently came home from work with these little red bumps on him and to us they looked like bites from “red bugs”. He reads water meters so hes always in wooded areas so we passes it off as that. Now I’m itching and I’m getting a few red bumps. My legs itch like crazy even in areas where there isn’t any bumps. They’re not huge bumps, just little ones. Kind of like mosquito bites.
Now we’re not so sure what it is. Our 16 month old doesn’t have it. Its itchy all over except our genitals (thank god) and I know its not anything sexual related.
I’ve gone to an allergist he found that I wasn’t having any reactions to the skin test. I’ve switched to Tide free laundry detergent and Dove for sensitive skin soap. We did recently get a puppy and she scratches all the time but I haven’t seen not one flea. I’ve checked out bed for bed bugs and didn’t find anything.
What could possibly be making us itch and what can we use to ease the itching? I do have a doctors appointment coming up next month buts almost a month away. I could call the allergist back but hes already tested me for everything so what more can he do? I need some relief.
For someone to say ebola they must be very ignorant and wanted to be funny..and it really wasn’t cute at all.

It sounds like bedbugs. Examine your bedding carefully. If you have them, call an exterminator. They are very hard to get rid of.

Leprosy. I’m sorry, but I found the ebola answer quite funny.
I would say fleas, although it sounds like you are itching just out of suggestion. My wife does that too. We heard that a kid in kindergarten had lice, so she got itchy all over her head, for a few days, although our daughter didn’t get them. It could be from a plant, like poison ivy or something like that that he managed to pass on to you, but it seems far-fetched.
