Shampoo depends on your dog’s breed and coat.
I personally use “Tropiclean Awapuhi White” on my dog; she’s a papillon and is mostly white, hence the white-dog shampoo.
Shampoo- I am not really sure, but I know that most of the ones I buy from my vet work well.
Best dog food- Well there is no BEST dog food, just the one that works BEST for you and your dog. I use Canidae ALS and my dog is doing well on it. I see improvement on her coat, and she is not too skinny anymore. That is the one that works best for me.
If you want something from PETCO then go with their SPA collection. Its the best shampoo there. If you want something better, go to your local grooming salon (NOT PETSMART OR PETCO) and look at their shapoos. Pet Silk is good.
Food: You want something with no by products. PETCO has starting haveing Wellness dog food. Wellness dog food is the best food there. You can order California Natural Or Canidae online.

i use Butchers organic dog food for my yorkie
but for my jack russel i use pedigree dry food, i believe dry food is very good for dogs teeth
i also give my dogs some chicken fillet now and again for a treat
i use Johnsons Anti-Tangle Dog Conditioning Shampoo for both my dogs
